About
We are a new USDOL grant awardee hosted by Northeastern Technical College in Cheraw SC. We have 16 partner technical colleges all over SC, working agreements with SC Works, and numerous connections throughout the state.
Our mission is to assist farmers by providing training and assistance (safety, OSHA, electrical/mechanical, CDL, driver training, etc.) to legally authorized migrant/seasonal farmworkers to improve productivity and workforce sustainability. We can design/locate quick-turnaround training programs that are growing season friendly, and practical for farmers and farmworkers. This is a four-year program sponsored by the USDOL.
