About Certified SC Seafood
Certified South Carolina is expanding to include seafood in the Certified SC Seafood program. The program is a cooperative effort among the SC Department of Natural Resources, the SC Seafood Alliance and the SC Department of Agriculture to brand and promote South Carolina Seafood. The goal is to help consumers easily identify and buy Certified SC Seafood. The Certified SC Seafood logo can only be used by approved Licensed Wholesale Dealers, Distributors, Retailers, Shellfish Mariculture Permit Holders, and Aquaculture Permit Holders on seafood products grown or landed in South Carolina. The Certified SC Seafood program is free to join! Membership is made by application to and acceptance by the Marketing Department of the SC Department of Agriculture.
