Coastal Badass Co. was created in April 2021 as a result of the COVID pandemic. A time of jobless and stress led to more time to fish and cook. The result was a line of coastal inspired seasonings that started with an offer to a group of local charter captains. This eventually turned into 85 stores within the year and new lines being created. I was born and raised in Charleston, SC and these flavors were inspired by that love of the Lowcountry, a passion for food, and the desire to make cooking easier and enjoyable for everyone. We started with the Coastal Badass Blackening Rub and added the Coastal Badass Lemon Zang. This is a garlic butter lemon pepper that can be used on any and everything. We are now in stores from Maine to the Florida Keys and all the way over to Texas, trying to spread the flavors of the South to everyone in between.
