King George is a family owned and operated lavender farm in Barnwell, SC.  George Poole grew up on a dairy farm in Central NY and has had a love of animals and the satisfaction of growing his own crops.  Elinor has had a love of gardening and horticulture most of her life with a specific love of lavender.

Their two loves have been a perfect match in marriage and helping them realize their dream of opening a lavender farm.

George and Elinor moved to SC from NY in 2016 and purchased an 80 acre farm, since then they have expanded the farm by adding 35 acres this past fall.  We are currently growing 9,000 plants and 3 varieties of lavender.

The business is supported by their daughter Jessica, son Nathan, son-in-law Nick and two grand-daughters Ella and Addie.
