The Certified South Carolina program is a cooperative effort among producers, processors, wholesalers, retailers and the South Carolina Department of Agriculture (SCDA) to brand and promote South Carolina products.

Our goal is for consumers to be able to easily identify, find and buy South Carolina products. Public interest and perceptions, image and awareness, distribution, legislation, regulations all have an impact on the sustainability and growth of agribusiness. To tackle these issues, overcome obstacles and keep agriculture profitable, the South Carolina Department of Agriculture in cooperation with public and private partners has implemented the Certified South Carolina program.
