Canebrake Apiary and Aquaponics, LLC

County: kershaw

We are a Certified Naturally Grown apiary producing local honey and bee products for our local friends and neighbors. Our apiary is in a wooded environment, giving our bees access to tulip polar, maple, and other native plants. We plant various forage plants for the bees in hopes of supporting their success. We also have a flock of healthy hens producing local eggs in large and medium weights. WE have no roosters on premises and the hens are protected within a large netted apiary. Buff Orpingtons provide us with light brown eggs, Welsummers are producing darker/spotted brown eggs, and Americauna are producing green, blue-tint, and olive eggs. All eggs are processed in accordance with SCDA rules and regulations.
