Collard Dip

Collard Dip

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces Certified SC Grown collard greens
  • 16 ounces sour cream
  • 1 cup Duke’s mayonnaise
  • 5 ounces chopped green onions
  • 1 cup diced green bell pepper
  • ½ cup chopped parsley
  • 1.4 ounces vegetable soup mix
  • 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  2. Add the collard greens and cook for about 20 minutes, or until tender.
  3. Drain well and cool completely.
  4. Finely chop the collard greens.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the collards, sour cream, mayonnaise, vegetable soup mix, green onions, bell pepper, parsley, and Worcestershire sauce.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
  • Serve with fresh vegetables, crackers, or corn chips.
